Labs

Lab time will be used for design studios, quizzes, and to explain the use of a tool to support conceptual material covered in the lectures. Points will be assigned for lab attendance (5% of the overall grade).

In the design studios, students will work in teams on various aspects of software engineering. Work submitted in the design studios will be graded and count toward the group quiz points (5%).

Individual Quizzes may also be given in the lab, and those points will count toward the individual quiz points (5%).

Labs must be taken in the section that you were originally assigned to. Make up labs will not be allowed unless there was an emergency situation or university related travel. Documentation will be needed in such cases and the make up lab will be done the same week (with another section). If that is not possible, please discuss your case with the instructor.
