The Half Moon Golf, Tennis and Beach Club is on Jamaica's northern coast, minutes from Sangster International Airport. There are 419 rooms, suites, and royal villas.

Royal villas are 5-7 room buildings with their own living rooms and small meeting space. Each royal villa has a cook who will fix breakfast; you provide the raw materials. There is a local commissary near the royal villas.

Room rates

Room rates negotiated for conference attendees are $130.00 per night (single) and $173.00 per night (double). These rates are applicable to Royal Villa Rooms and Superior Rooms, and include bellman and maid gratuities. Rates are subject to 16.25% tax and service charges. The conference rate is valid from September 28, 2005 till October 10, 2005 (i.e., 3 days pre/post the MoDELS 2005 group days).

Making reservations

To guarantee your reservation please return the completed reservation form by fax (876-953-2731) or email (jsamms@halfmoon.com) by September 10, 2005 with a 2-night payment for each room or a credit card to guarantee the reservation. Reservation requests received after September 10, 2005 will be granted based on space available basis and the rate will be based on the category of room available. You may also call (876) 953-2211 and ask for Jodey Samms or Carlene Anderson or the Reservations Supervisor.

Delegates can book villa rooms individually or, if a specific group of persons want to ensure they are in the same villa, they can make a note on the form. There are five, six, and seven bedroom villas.

The hotel advises that you need to inform them in writing in case your travel plans change. Cancellations received after September 10, 2005 will attract a 1-night penalty. Cancellation received on/after September 29, 2005 or "no show" will attract a 3-night penalty.
