As you might know, there's a battle raging on how to pronounce GIF. Steve Wilhite, the inventor of the format, says it should be pronounced "jif", but there are sections of the Internet community that assert it needs to be pronounced "gif" because of the hard 'g' in "graphics".

Modern CSS also allows colors to be specified in RGBA format. This relates to the previous slides showing the 32 bit encoding or RGB plus and Alpha Channel. W3Schools has an example that is useful for experimentation.
