This assignment requires you to make use of the Bootstrap Framework to learn to use a few basic components for Bootstrap Framework and appreciate the ease with which things can be accomplished. So far in CT 310 you have learned as much as possible how fundamentals of essential aspects of web development work: HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON and jQuery. Upon this foundation it is time to start taking advantage of more modern frameworks which in turn make a developer's job tractable. In particular, how much a head start one can have using a CSS/JavaScript framework; specifically Bootstrap.
You are expected to cut and paste parts from the examples available in the resources discussed in lecture. The whole point of using these frameworks is to simplify your task when developing a new site quickly. We do ask - actually require - that you provide attribution for any code block longer than 2 lines which you are borrowing from an online example.
Each student is asked to create a single tar or zip file containing their entire website. These must be submitted to Canvas before the due date and time. Your work will be tested with Chrome on department machines. Please host it on your CS account and provide the URL to your page as a comment during the Canvas submission.
