Mountain Time
Mountain Time refers to a time zone in the United States that includes
CSU in
Fort Collins, Colorado. The current Mountain Time is
7:05ᴀᴍ MST.
There are several variations:
- Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) is when Daylight Saving Time is
observed, between the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in
November.
- Mountain Standard Time (MST) is the rest of the year.
- Mountain Time (MT) is either of the two, depending on the date.
Fun facts:
- the “Standard” in “Mountain Standard Time” does not mean
“official”, it means “non‑daylight‑saving”
- it’s “Saving”, not “Savings”.
