One day a buddy of mine was telling me about a dream of his. He spoke of staring into a black void, as many existentialist minds do, but instead of the prototypical “void said nothing in return” a black tendril formed from the abyss to convey a message.

dream is the inspiration of The Void. A character encounters a metaphorical visualization of the void. As the soundtrack, created by dragging a guitar pick lengthwise along a bass guitar string, builds, tension, mirrored by the dread that existential though often brings, the visuals become increasingly frenetic, eventually leading to some form of truth.
